If sentences

If sentences

Do you think that if sentences are something very complicated to learn? Well, they certainly aren’t!

If you take a look at this mind map, you will learn if sentences very quickly! (1st type)

If you learned them easily, you would feel satisfied. (2nd type)

If you had seen the mind map before, you wouldn’t have had to worry about how to use them. (3rd type)

So, it seems rather easy, isn’t it? That’s why mind maps exist.

Just take a look at the grammar patterns presented for each of them, invent personal examples to learn by heart (remember, our brain remembers funny things most easily!) and that’s it!

If sentences

Notice: you should use the first type when it’s likely that something will happen if a certain condition is fulfilled (that’s why they are also called conditional sentences).

The second type should be used when something could happen but it’s unlikely it will.

And, finally, the third type gives no possibilities for things to happen because it refers to the past.

However, this isn’t all about conditionals. These are only the basics, so necessary for understanding the rules to begin with.
